WWE lawsuit settled over Owen Hart death?


"The widow of World Wrestling Entertainment performer Martha Hart has settled her lawsuit against the WWE over royalties and the use of her late husband's image.
The settlement was announced Wednesday by Martha Hart and confirmed by the WWE. Hart hasn't disclosed any details. A spokesman for the WWE says he has no comment.
Owen Hart died in 1999 while being lowered into the wrestling ring at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo. He was 34.
Martha Hart sued in June 2010, alleging the WWE didn't pay royalty payments owed to Owen Hart's estate and violated a contract restricting the use of his name and likeness.

    Owen Hart has been one of the greatest heels of all times. He has been dedicated to the company and whatever he does amiss, he learns from his mistakes and tries to become even better. His legacy would continue to pass on as being an entertainer and a world class wrestler. Everyone would like to see Bret induct Owen into the hall of fame. Owen has won the WWE title at all but he has done a lot of impacts. He was a World Champion, two time WWF intercontinental champion, four time WWF tag team champion, USWA unified world champion, WWF European champion and a IWGP Junior heavyweight champion. He has been in many pay per views during the 90's. Many people were very excited to see Owen Hart vs. his brother Bret Hart because it was an epic match. Many people enjoyed watching it. He got to vs. the best and won out of some of them. He has been a great wrestler and entertainer and we will still commemorate him from today till forward.
